Dan Salisbury is a photographic artist living and working in London. Primarily working within subterranean environments in and around London, his illicit visitations result in unusual and alternative visualisations of the city’s structure. Utilising long exposures, a particular atmosphere is found in many of his works – a cold, lingering stillness that invites quiet curiousity and examination. Other works focus on the liminal moments around these spaces – the ‘in and outs’ of exploring these places undetected, and the unusual feelings present whilst within them. His works examine spacial boundaries and the search for wilderness-style adventure within the urban landscape.
Dan studied at London College of Communication.
